The Panhandle Business and Professional Women organization names First National Bank North Platte as its 2013 business of the year.
The award is given to an employer each year who is
exceptionally responsive to the personal and professional needs of its female
employees.
The nominating committee is impressed with First National Bank North Platte's 100% female work force.
"By having all females," says Dawne Wolfe, vice president of commercial banking, "it represents that we are equal
opportunity and we can have females in roles that would normally be held by
men."
The bank offers employees Family Care Pay and the Circle
of Giving, which allows employees to
use up to two hours per month for community involvement.
