A public
school system in KOTA Territory introduces a new slogan for its anonymous
incident reporting hotline.
'Regretting is harder than Telling' ... That's the new
message for Scottsbluff Public Schools.
TIPS is the School System's anonymous incident reporting
system for parents, students and community members. The new slogan aims
to get individuals to report potentially harmful incidents, before they
occur.
Superintendent Rick Myles says TIPS has been around for
the past year–and–a–half.
"Growing up is a hard thing," says Myles. "Kids need to understand, along with their parents, that there's always help there if you
take advantage of it. I think all too
often, nobody does."
