Three positions are soon-to-be- filled at the University of Nebraska's Panhandle Extension Center.
District Director Dr. Linda Boeckner says search committees are being organized for each of the vacancies at the scottsbluff campus.
They are trying to fill a Dryland Cropping Systems Specialist, Water Resource Management engineer, and a Range and Forage Management Ecologist.
Dr. Boeckner says the extension educators have been working hard to fill the gaps left by these three vacant positions.
"We're feeling it now pretty intensely, because when these individuals aren't here, there's still work that needs to go around what they were investigating," explains Dr. Boeckner. "So again, we're very fortunate to go out and begin the search process for all three positions."
Dr. Linda Boeckner says that she hopes to have all three positions filled by mid - summer
