Play Station 4 release keeps game stores busy

A new game console's release could help local gaming stores' business.

The Sony Play Station 4's unveiling yesterday, left Scottsbluff's local game store Game Time happy.

The PS4 boasts a new cloud like system to stream content, with the goal of getting all existing play station games available via the cloud.

Donald Sisson, the retail manager at game time says the new console is adaptable for old Play Station games.

Some newer consoles can't play the previous console's games, which Sisson says could business.

"There's been speculation about the 360 not doing that, and since we sell used games it would hurt our business if everything went online."

It's been seven years since Sony released the Play Station 3 and Sisson says technology has come a long way since.
