"Look Good, Feel Better" class helps empower women undergoing cancer treatment

Today women undergoing cancer treatment got a treat for themselves.

Regional West Medical Center held their "Look Good, Feel Better" class for women undergoing cancer treatment.

The program has volunteer cosmetologists and gives the women free make up.

The cosmetologists teach the patients beauty tips to help them with the side effects of cancer treatment.

Carol Diffendaffer, an Oncology Social Worker at Regional West, says the program also gives the women a chance to just enjoy themselves for the day and be pampered.

The "Look Good, Feel Better" program is free for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
