A KOTA Territory community college is taking care of their students.
Western Nebraska Community College raises money for their Foundation's annual fund.
The Foundation is a non profit and solicits private funds to help students, whether it's through scholarships or improving facilities and programs.
Todd Holcomb, the College's President says this year the goal is $135,000.
He says although the campaign volunteers seek funding from the community, it also gives them an opportunity to share the school's story.
"Well I think it's important for us to tell our story and the college has a great story to tell. You know, we are able to impact so many students' lives in the panhandle," Holcomb said.
Holcomb says last year with this fundraiser the school was able to give $376,000 in scholarships.
