Kosman's honored at Statehood Dinner

Posted: Updated:

A Scottsbluff couple gets honors at the state capitol.

Hod and Willa Kosman were awarded the distinguished "Nebraskalander" award last week.

And last night the couple were guests at the annual Statehood Dinner.

The Kosman's have given a lot of time and financial donations to the panhandle area.

Hod is known for efforts to conserve biologically unique land in the Wildcat Hills and the Platte River Basin.

And Willa plays a key role in the arts here in the Panhandle and her contributions to the Midwest Theater.

"Willa and Hod have been such community driven and supporting people around this valley. They not only affect the people here, but the surrounding communities," Swank said.

Swank says without Willa's involvement with the theater, it just wouldn't be the same.
