The National Weather Service is warning people in western Nebraska about the possibility of a blizzard heading their way.
A blizzard watch notification says snow could begin falling early Saturday morning and last until 11 p.m.
Accumulations of 4 to 10 inches are expected. Winds of 20 to 35 mph with 45 mph gusts could reduce visibility to less than a quarter mile and cause whiteouts, making travel hazardous.
