A panhandle Y.M.C.A is helps keep kids out of trouble.
The Scottsbluff Y.M.C.A kicked off their teen night program in Novemeber.
The program is on Saturday nights from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and focuses on kids in grades fifth to eighth.
The Y is kids only on teen night and they can play in dodge ball tournaments, fun games and other activities.
Trevor Coxbill, the Y's Camp Director, says it also gives the kids an opportunity to get out and meet new friends.
"Just because we've had the attendance show up and the kids have really enjoyed it. We've gotten a lot of good feedback from the community so it's been successful," Coxbill said.
Coxbill says since the program's been so successful, the Y will continue the teen nights as a regular program.
