The City of Scottsbluff is looking to fill multiple open positions in the coming months.
Currently, the Parks and Recreation Department has four contract positions open, including softball coordinator and campground host.
In addition, with summer creeping up, the city is actively looking to fill many vacancies for lifeguards for Westmoor pool and the Splash Arena.
"I always need as many possible life guards as I can possibly get," says Rec Supervisor Triniti Burgner. "All in all we would probably like to have 20 new lifeguards on top of what we have returning and rec aides, about 8 to 10; and then the contract positions as well."
People interested in becoming a lifeguard can attend upcoming certification classes at Splash Arena.
