A KOTA Territory woman gets more criminal charges filed against her while she's being booked into jail.
Last night, 31-year-old Elizabeth Mauer was being processed in to the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center to begin a 90 day sentence.
During the booking process, a corrections officer found a plastic bag with methamphetamine in it.
She was then charged with possession of a controlled substance and smuggling contraband into jail.
Mauer claims that a friend gave her the bag, and she had planned to flush it- but forgot.
