A KOTA Territory humane society reminds pet owners to be responsible.
The Scottsbluff Humane Society got a litter of 5 six week old puppies.
The puppies are a German Shepard Husky mix and there's only two left up for adoption.
Heather Neideffer, a Vet at the humane society, says when they get litters like this they also want to remind the community of responsible pet ownership.
Neideffer says the word needs to be spread to spay and neuter your animals, especially if you can't take care of the consequences.
"We always have people interesting in puppies, we just give them the information and let them know what they're getting into, have them fill out some paperwork and they're good to go," Neideffer said.
Last month was National Spay Month, but Neideffer says it's not too late to get your dog fixed.
