A panhandle art exhibit showcases the beauty of the Sand Hills.
The Western Nebraska Arts Center is hosting a new exhibit from a Nebraskan artist.
The Hastings Photographer, Brett Erickson's exhibit is called "Plain Sky Nebraskans."
The Executive Director for the W.N.A.C, Mason Burbach says Ericksons focus is the Sand Hills, as well as the people living there.
Burbach says he's excited to showcase Erickson's work because it shows a different side of Nebraska a more magical one.
"It can bring you back if you've seen the sand hills, if you haven't seen the sand hills, it's just nothing short of magic, and spend some time and you'll see that for yourself," Burbach said.
Burbach says the community's response has been great and many people who haven't visited the Sand Hills before say it'll be their next travel destination.
