High enforcement leads to minimal DUI arrests for St. Patrick's Day

Increased visibility enforcement for drunk drivers this Saint Patrick's Day weekend yielded several D.U.I. arrests.

In Scotts Bluff County alone, there were five drivers arrested for driving under the influence.

The Nebraska State Patrol received grant money to set up DUI checkpoints on both Friday and Saturday night.

In the northern panhandle, the Chadron Police Department reported 2 DUI arrests, and down in Sidney, they reported zero DUI arrests.
