KOTA Territory art exhibit gives students a chance to shine

Posted: Updated:

A KOTA Territory art exhibit is giving students the opportunity to shine.

The Western Nebraska Arts Center is accepting applications for their new student exhibit.

The W.N.A.C is asking students from 6-12 grades within 125 miles of Scottsbluff to enter their work for the "Visionary Student Art Exhibit."

The last day to enter your work is the 28th and the exhibit will showcase April 5th.

The exhibit is open to 2-D and 3-D art and the center's Executive Director Mason Burbach says he's excited to see what the kids create.

"It's just important you know, a young person that is making art, sometimes it's just that first step in showing your work publicly. Seeing what kind of feedback you get and seeing what peers are doing from other schools," Burbach said.
