Scottsbluff Public Schools will be sending home parent opinion surveys this week.
The district is giving the survey to parents as part of parent–teacher conferences.
The results are compiled and used to inform decision making at both the school and district levels.
The last survey was completed by parents in May of 2011.
Superintendent of Scottsbluff Public Schools, Rick Myles, encourages participation to ensure the most accurate results.
"We really were intent upon designing the survey in a way that would get the results and the information that would be meaningful," says Myles.
The completed surveys are due back to the schools by March 25th.
