Talk of water restrictions, warmer temperatures and the high plains turf and landscape conference means only one thing: Spring!
Todd Neu, John Deere Salesman for the Frank Implement Company says the conference is a good way to start off the season.
Although the panhandle remains in an exceptional drought, the turf and landscape managers say their optimistic for moisture in April and May.
And Neu says now is the time to start planning and hopefully manage water resources accordingly.
"Hopefully warming up. It'd be great to see some spring showers, but it's just everything starting new again. Getting the crops in the ground, see things green up, trees green up, and just everyone's willing to get outside and enjoy the warm weather," Neu said.
The University of Nebraska Lincoln's Extension Center sponsored the conference.
