A longtime panhandle bed and breakfast has closed its doors.

A longtime panhandle bed and breakfast has closed its doors.

The only bed and breakfast in the city of Scottsbluff is now up for sale.

Proprietor Suella Hanlon had run the Hanlon House for a number of years.

After suffering a stoke last June, however, she was forced to close the establishment.

Patrons of the bed and breakfast describe Suella as a 'charming hostess' who cooked-up delicious multi-course breakfast meals for her guests.

The early 1900's home was owned by Hanlon's family before she acquired the property, turning it into a bed and breakfast.
