Members of the armed forced no longer have to worry about cuts to their Tuition Assistance.
Congress has reinstated the military Tuition Assistance program for members of the U.S. armed forces.
The college aid program was suspended last week as a part of sequestration's budget cuts.
The cuts would have prevented troops in all branches of the military from receiving federal aid for schooling.
In a media conference call today, Rep. Adrian Smith said the reinstating amendment was unopposed in the Senate.
The amendment will continue Tuition Assistance through September, for the remainder of the fiscal year.
