Legacy of the Plains receives big monetary contribution

The Legacy of the Plains in Scottsbluff receives a big monetary contribution from one bank in KOTA Territory.

First State Bank in Scottsbluff is presenting a $100,000 check to the Legacy of the Plains Museum Capital Campaign.

This money will help fund the legacy of the plains as they continue to develop their new vision, bringing together the Farm and Ranch Museum with the North Platte Valley Historical Association.  

"It's an incredibly important investment," says George SchlothauerCo-chair of the Capital Campaign for the Legacy of the Plains Museum. "We're so pleased that people like First State Bank have stepped up and are going to make a financial commitment to the project."

Schlothauer says the Legacy of the Plains has already raised close to $1,000,000.  The entire project will cost at least $3,000,000.
