Arrests made in storage unit break-ins

2 men are arrested for a rash of burglaries of storage units and garages in Scottsbluff.

Police arrested 21-year-olds Dakota Britthouer and Steven Littlewolf on Friday afternoon.

Officers were investigating break-ins at Birch's Mini Storage on Avenue I, a garage and shed on 8th Avenue, and at Century 21 Lumber on East Overland all in Scottsbluff. All of those break-ins were reported on April 26th.

On April 30th officers were contacted by a citizen who said Littlewolf was responsible for the burglary of the storage units.

Police interviewed Littlewolf, who admitted that he had cut most of the locks off at the storage units. He claims that he did not take anything, but "just trashed" the units. He also admitted to stealing an air compressor from the home on 8th Avenue.

Britthouer denied cutting any locks, but admitted to being present for the break-ins at the storage units and on 8th Avenue.

Littlewolf is charged with 2 counts of burglary, and Britthouer is charged with one count of burglary.
