A Scottsbluff man is charged with second degree murder in the death of a man at the Hells Angels' Motorcycle Club building in Omaha.
47 - year - old Jay Witt is being held without bail, after making his first court hearing yesterday.

He is accused of killing 48-year-old William Furlong on July 14th in the Omaha Hells Angels' building.

Prosecutors say Witt shot Furlong following an altercation.

Witt was arrested Monday without incident after investigators tracked him via GPS in a stolen vehicle.
"The task force has been looking for him; so they knew who they were looking for," explains Omaha Police Officer Michael Pecha. "When the officer observed him at 680 & 30th street, they recognized him. And again- they did notice that the car he was in was stolen as well. So they were able to follow him and make the traffic stop here."
Witt also faces charges of use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a weapon by a felon.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for September 16th.
