October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and all things were pink to honor the people affected by it last night at the WNCC volleyball game.

The annual 'Think Pink Night' drew large crowds to Cougar Palace, and one of the most famous people in attendance was Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman.

He says that breast cancer awareness is very important, and is a full-on supporter of the college's annual event.

"It means a lot to everyone, and we're here to support that tonight," says Heineman. "That's why I got my shirt on. This happens all the time and we want to be very, very supportive. I think the people of Nebraska are very supportive of events like this."

The Lady Cougars wore pink uniforms during the match against Otero Junior College, beating them in 3 straight sets.
