Scottsbluff man arrested on meth possession charge

Posted: Updated:

A 21-year-old Scottsbluff man is behind bars, after allegedly selling methamphetamine to a local woman.

Eric Alfaro was arrested on Saturday. Court documents say that a woman told police she had purchased 1.7 grams of methamphetamine from Alfaro, and had made arrangements to purchase more later on in the day.

Police obtained a search warrant of his home and found a mason jar containing marijuana, a digital scale, a blue tube with a trace amount of methamphetamine, a pipe with marijuana residue.

He is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana (one ounce or less), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
