New Sidney elementary school: First of two community-input meetings held tonight

Do you have questions, comments, or concerns about a new elementary school in Sidney?
The Sidney Public School board will be holding two public-input meetings to discuss a new Sidney elementary school.

The community is encouraged to attend to address their concerns or ask questions about the new school.

The meeting will address the importance of a new elementary facility, the benefits for students, what will become of the North Elementary school property, and how transportation of students will work.

Superintendent of Public Schools Jay Ehler will presentation on the project and then open up a public forum for discussion.
The first meeting is Monday at 7 p.m. in the North Elementary school gym.

The second meeting will be held at noon Tuesday at the Cheyenne County Community Center.
