A 26-year-old Gering man who was pulled over for having a busted headlight is now facing a variety of drug charges.

Wesley Vandever was arrested Thursday night after a Scottsbluff Police officer noticed his pickup with a defective right headlight.

When he was contacted by police, it was confirmed he was driving on a suspended drivers license, and was arrested.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of bandana with a glass pipe with white residue in it. While he was being booked into the county jail, a syringe fell from Vandever to the ground.

He is charged with the following: Distribution of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, driving under suspension, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
