KOTA Territory family with father serving overseas receive tree full of presents and new car from Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association

Posted: Updated:

Christmas came early for one KOTA Territory family.

The Dolberg family was greeted by a new family van driven by Santa, a Christmas tree full of gifts, and a bunch of other Christmas surprises including a new dryer Saturday afternoon.

All of the gifts came from the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, a non-profit charity organization out of Lincoln.

Members of the Combat Vets made the trip all the way from Lincoln to brighten the Dolberg's holiday, as the family will have to spend Christmas without their father this year, because he is currently serving overseas.

Each of the seven children in the family as well as their mother, Terra Dolberg, received gifts and holiday cheer .

Combat Vets Chaplain Ty Boyer says the Combat Veterans sponsor a Nebraska family for Christmas every year.

"This year we came from Lincoln to an exceptional family, the dolberg family and there's... There's as you can see quite a few presents and quite a few kids back here, but our primary focus is to really come out and spread Christmas cheer to people who deserve it. And the father of this home is extra special, we're very thankful for people like him in our country."
