The Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in tracking down a man involved in a Friday night accident.

18-year-old Andrew Hackett is wanted for providing false information to law enforcement. Hackett currently has an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hackett was the passenger in an pickup driven by 20-year-old Michael Fiscus. Fiscus ran a stop sign on County Road S, and struck a northbound pickup. The accident sent 36-year-old Seth Thompson to RWMC, where he remains in critical condition.

Scotts Bluff County Sheriff Mark Overman says that Hackett provided his Deputies with a false name, and left the hospital before Deputies discovered his real identity.

Fiscus is charged with Driving Under the Influence (Zero Tolerance), Willful Reckless Driving, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and a stop sign violation. Fiscus was convicted of another Zero Tolerance charge in July.

If you know of Hackett's whereabouts, call the Communications Center at 436-6666.
