6 egg yolks 6 eggs 4 c cream 1 loaf bread 2 c sugar 2 TB vanilla 2 TB cinnamon
Combine eggs, cream, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Break up the loaf of bread and fill a 8x8 cake pan. Next, cover the bread with the cream mixture. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
Pecan Caramel Sauce:
1 c butter 1 c brown sugar 1/4 c cream 1/8 c rum 1 c pecan halves
In a saucepan over medium heat add butter and brown sugar. Stir until butter is melted and mixture begins to bubble. Then add the pecans and stir for 30 seconds. Mix in the cream and rum while continuing to heat and stir until all sugar is melted. Pour over bread pudding and enjoy!
