Bridgeport Superintendent will say 'goodbye' to district at end of school year

A panhandle school superintendent will say 'goodbye' to the district at the end of the school year.
Dave Miller has been the Superintendent of Bridgeport Public Schools for the past five years.

During that time, Miller has helped see-through a number of exciting projects like the addition of the school's new vocational agriculture program.

He's also played an instrumental role in the planning stages of the district's $8.9 million bond for major school improvements.
"The nice thing about it is I'll get to see this project kicked-off," Miller says of bond renovation efforts.  "We should start construction later this spring and I should be a part of getting it off the ground and rolling."
Miller's last day as Bridgeport School Superintendent will be June 30th.

"I do feel like this district is in a better place now than it was when I got here and I just hope that continues," says Miller.
