With the Super Bowl just days away, one family who lives north of Henry will be rooting for one player in particular. However it's not Peyton Manning, Wes Welker, or any other big name player from the Broncos.

"They're going to the Super Bowl! They won the championship! So it's a lot more exciting now that they're going to the bowl."

Pete Unrein is not just your average Broncos fan. Mainly because his nephew Mitch happens to be one of Denver's defensive linemen.

"Since he was a little boy, he always wanted to play for the Broncos," explains Unrein. "He always did."

The road wasn't easy for Mitch; who had to walk onto the University of Wyoming team, and went undrafted in the NFL.

Now, with the Broncos just one win away from winning their third super bowl, the Unrein family is closer than ever.

"My mother's 87," explains Pete Unrein. "And Mitch had got her a ticket for the championship game, and she was able to sit down front row with Mitch's dad, so that was pretty special."

Pete Unrein isn't making the trek to Metlife Stadium to watch the game, but will be joining much of his extended family in Colorado to watch the big game.

"It's pretty fascinating, and we're pretty proud of him."

Mitch Unrein is also in the record book, after becoming the only defensive lineman to score an offensive touchdown in Bronco's history .
