Woman accused of stabbing boyfriend set to go to trial

A trial date has been set for a Scottsbluff woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend with a steak knife.

51-year-old Georgia Left Hand is charged with first degree assault and use of a deadly a weapon to commit a felony.

On Friday, Left Hand was arraigned in Scotts Bluff County District Court. The case is set for a pretrial conference beginning on March 20th, and will go to trial in the jury term that begins on March 31st.

District Judge Leo Dobrovolny reduced his bond $150,000 at 10%.

Court documents say that left hand stabbed 45-year-old Timothy Britthouer in the upper chest and wrist. Officers found a bloody steak knife at the scene.
