Man accused of robbing Git 'N Split to make first appearance in District Court this afternoon

The man accused of robbing a Scottsbluff convenience store is set to be back in court this afternoon to be arraigned on charges of robbery and possession of a controlled substance.

28-year-old Michael Galindo is charged in the January 15th robbery of the Git 'N Split Gas Station.

Police say that they were able to identify him through surveillance cameras and several key items of clothing that he was wearing. Galindo was arrested the following morning at Shari's restaurant, and had some of those clothing items on his person.

Galindo remains in jail on a $1,000,000 bond at 10%
