The man accused of robbing a Scottsbluff convenience store is set to go to trial in May after being arraigned on charges of robbery and possession of a controlled substance this afternoon in Scotts Bluff County District Court.

28-year-old Michael Galindo is charged in the January 15th robbery of the Git 'N Split Gas Station.

Today, District Judge Leo Dobrovolny set a pretrial conference for the case for April 24th at 8:00 a.m., and will go to trial in the jury term that begins May 5th.

Police say that they were able to identify Galindo through surveillance cameras and several key items of clothing that he was wearing. Galindo was arrested the following morning at Shari's restaurant, and had some of those clothing items on his person.

Galindo remains in jail on a $1,000,000 bond at 10%
