FAFSA Frenzy to help families with financial aid tips

Posted: Updated:

An upcoming event at Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) will help prospective students learn how to get money for school.

It's called 'FAFSA Frenzy'.  FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

The free event provides prospective students with help completing the necessary federal financial aid forms.

EWC financial aid staff will be on–hand, along with representatives from other colleges and work force development agencies, to help answer questions.

"It's a really fun event," says Becky McAllister, with the EWC Office of Financial Aid.  "We also have a scholarship drawing so we hope that people will come-out, get their FAFSA done and use the resources that we have."

The FAFSA Frenzy event will be held on Sunday February 16th at two different times: the first from 1-3 p.m.  And again from 6-9 p.m.

Pre registration for the event is not necessary.
