Monument Physical Therapy opens up in former Bush's Gaslight restaurant building

An old vacant restaurant building in Gering gets a new tenant.
Monument Physical Therapy spent the day Monday getting comfy in their new facility, in the old Bush's Gaslight Restaurant in Gering.

Lead Physical Therapist Michael Moravec says the new facility will help Monument Physical Therapy adapt to their growing client base, and allow them to offer new classes and sessions.

"We will be able to adapt to our patient load, but also be will be able to expand on some of our other aspects of care that we do."

Moavec says the business that began in 2009 quickly outgrew its old facility and needed something bigger.

...And he says although the old Gaslight restaurant is gone, it hasn't been forgotten.
"We wanted to re-incorporate some of what Bush's was, because it was such an icon in the community. So I don't know if you see behind but can see the windows that were in there that were such, everyone always asked 'What are you going to do with those windows?' We re-incorporated them into our office because I thought they were gorgeous and wanted to keep them a part of this building."
Monument Physical Therapy will hold an open house on March 13th, and later that evening will host a 'Business After Hours' that wills serve as a Grand Opening.
