Memorial fund created for slain correction officer's son

The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 41 has created a memorial fund for Amanda Baker, to benefit her young son David.

Baker was a corrections officer at the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center and passed away on Sunday after getting attacked by an inmate.

Lodge President Deputy Robert Hackett says anyone from the Scotts Bluff County Area wishing to donate to this fund may do so at any First National Bank branch in Scottsbluff, Alliance, Chadron, or North Platte .
