Terrytown couple arrested on meth distribution charge

A Terrytown couple is behind bars after trying to throw away a bag of methamphetamine when the police arrived to serve a search warrant.

26-year-old Jonathan Jenkins and 25-year-old Katrina Ramos were arrested on Tuesday on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of stolen property.

Scottsbluff Police went to serve a search warrant at 72 South Street in Terrytown on Tuesday afternoon. Officers saw the back door open and witnessed someone throwing a bag out the door. Officers found Jenkins and Ramos by the back door moments later. Inside the bag was a white crystal substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. It weighed 2.3 grams with packaging.

Also found in the residence was an Apple MacBook Air laptop that was stolen from Mr. Money on February 25th.
