Scottsbluff Police make early morning drug bust at Motel 6

Scottsbluff Police take a sizable amount of marijuana and illicit pills off the street during an early Thursday morning drug bust.

Around 2 a.m., police noticed a woman vomiting in the Motel 6 parking lot. They notice the smell of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle, and observed a glass methamphetamine pipe in her arms.

Dustin Adams and Jessica Marchington were asked to exit the vehicle while they searched the car.

During the search, officers found at least 15 separate containers of marijuana, a variety of prescription pills, a digital scale and other drug paraphernalia.

Approximately one-half-pound of marijuana was found in the vehicle.

Adams and Marchington were arrested and charged with the following:

Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession of Marijuana with intent to deliver; Possession of Marijuana more than an ounce less than a pound; Possession of drug paraphernalia, Possession of controlled substance other than legal container; Possession of legal drug without prescription.

The duo will be arraigned on Friday in Scotts Bluff County Court.
