Colorado man survives rollover on Gering overpass

A Colorado man escapes serious injury after an early Monday morning accident.

55-year-old Christopher Loncarich of Mack, Colorado was driving southbound on Highway 71 near the Lockwood Road overpass shortly after 6 a.m. Monday.

Nebraska State Patrol says that Loncarich went into the median for 300 feet and went down into the embankment and rolled. Restraints were not in use and the vehicle was totaled.

He was transported to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff with non-life threatening injuries. He is currently listed in 'fair' condition.
