Scottsbluff Lied Library collecting Legos for new club

Posted: Updated:

Staff at the Scottsbluff Lied Library are in the process of starting a new children's club and need your help.
Library Director Abbey Yellman says the library is planning to begin a Lego's club for kids in April.

Now until then she's inviting residents to donate new or gently used legos to the library.

She says the club is geared towards kids in kindergarten through fifth grade but encourages parents to get involved as well.

Yellman adds the club isn't just for boys but would like to see a great female presence too.
"There's such a push for girls into engineering so we thought this would be a fun thing to do. Gering's already doing it and doing a great job...use this as a way to reach out to our youth," said Yellman.
The lego club by is expected to start the last Monday in April.
