Moisture not only helps soil, but ag workers behind the scenes

Posted: Updated:

Moisture is never a bad thing for people in the ag business; it helps the soil and farmers with their crops but can also help workers behind the scenes.

Sales Manager Dennis Stricker with Horizon West says employees are working to get service orders completed before the start of the spring season.

He says farmers are generally eager to get out and work and sometimes may feel like they're behind.

Stricker says currently his employees are behind in service orders but on a day like today, the wet weather can be seen as a win-win situation.

"The wet weather actually helps us because it gives us another week or ten days to try and get more of the service work out the door," said Stricker.

He went on to say that the moisture will help the soil and farmers in the long run.
