EWC invites all members of the community to explore job opportunities

Posted: Updated:

Eastern Wyoming College is inviting not only students, but any member of the community to attend their annual job expo.

More than thirty employers are expected to make an appearance at the expo with a wide variety of positions available.

A few of them include the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Menards, Alpine Animal Hospital and Banner Health.

EWC career services coordinator JoEllen Keigley says she wants to shatter the misconception that the expo is only for students. Her hope is that more members of the community come out because the opportunities available can benefit everyone.

"It gives people an opportunity to maybe connect with employers that they might not even know about, or maybe find a new direction, something different that they might be looking for," says Keigley. "It exposes them to more employers than they're typically used to."

The expo takes place on Wednesday, April 23rd from 10am to 2pm in the Gymnasium at the college.
