Scottsbluff fugitive who led authorities on high speed chase set to be arraigned in District Court

Posted: Updated:

The man that led Scottsbluff Police on a high speed chase through the Twin Cities last week will be arraigned Friday afternoon in Scotts Bluff County District Court.

23-year-old Alejandro Paramo is facing four felony charges stemming from a high speed pursuit last Wednesday that reached speeds up to 105 miles per hour.

The pursuit ended when Paramo's vehicle lost control and was struck by an officer's cruiser.

Two weapons and 16.4 grams of methamphetamine were recovered from the crash site along with suspected marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Paramo and Scottsbluff Officer Matt Dodge were both hospitalized following the crash, but neither were seriously injured.
