Nichole Peralta, a Leadership Cheyenne County member, says the doves program needs the help, especially after the closure of  the Sidney-based office.

"So this is kind of a way fro us to say 'Hey, look, Doves is still here. They're still serving Cheyenne County, there are still victims of domestic and sexual violence that are in need of help and this is just our way of being able to help them continue to serve such a huge part of the panhandle since they do have such a large area that they cover ."

Donations can also be dropped off throughout the week at the Panhandle Mental Health Center on 8th Avenue in Sidney.
