Man with no arms and no legs presents to 200 panhandle students at Youth First Conference

Posted: Updated:

More than 200 students from panhandle schools came to Scottsbluff today to hear a presentation from a man with no arms and no legs.

Brett Eastburn was the keynote speaker at today's 'Youth First Conference,' a day–long seminar to help students with disabilities.

Brett Eastburn was born without any arms or legs, but he says that doesn't hold him back from anything.

Eastburn showed students he can still draw, throw a football, and even open a soda can without having arms or legs.

His philosophy is you're only handicapped if you choose to be.

"People realize their own potential, and by showing them that I've accomplished most of the goals in my life without any arms and legs that no matter what their situation is I think that if you try hard enough you can accomplish what you want to," Eastburn said.

Eastburn recently published a book titled 'I'm Not Missing Anything'.
