Sidney man pleads no contest to golf course burglary

A Sidney man who was caught burglarizing a golf course and fleeing from police back in February has pleaded no contest to the charges.

29-year-old Nathan Pohl has been convicted on amended charges of Attempted Burglary and Escape, both class IV felonies.

Pohl was found hiding in a vehicle after escaping from the Sidney Police Station when he was arrested for burglarizing Sidney's Hillside Golf Course.

Pohl will be sentenced on May 13th at 10:30 a.m. Pohl could be facing up to 5 years in prison for each count.
