Sid Dinsdale making final push for Senate seat leading up to May Primary

Posted: Updated:
One of five Republican candidates vying to replace U.S. Senator Mike Johanns on Capitol Hill is making a final campaign push leading up to the May Primary.

Pinnacle Bank president Sid Dinsdale hosted a town hall meeting last night in Scottsbluff.

He says for the next two weeks, he is traveling the state, meeting nebraskans, and letting people know what he is all about.

During last night’s meeting, he discussed Obamacare, the economy, and immigration. “One of the biggest differences between me and the other challengers is I’m going to work for Nebraskans. I’m not going to work for the Washington D.C. special interest PAC money. I’m not having celebrities come in," explains Dinsdale. "I’m a Nebraskan and i will work for Nebraska.”

Dinsdale plans to make at least one more stop in the panhandle before the May 13th Primary.
