U Street and 21st Avenue repair schedule changes

There has been a change in the work schedule U Street and 21st Avenue repair work.

Bob Bennett of the Scotts Bluff County Roads Department says that the road repairs will be completed on 21st Avenue between U Street and Highway 92 in Gering on Monday and Tuesday May 5 and 6, 2014.

Drivers are encouraged to be careful when driving in this area while workers and heavy duty equipment is effecting the repairs.

Barricades will be in place at U and 92.

Bennett hopes to have the project completed by mid- afternoon Tuesday May 6th, 2014.
