A Scottsbluff man facing charges for allegedly sending a nude picture to the cell phone of a 15-year-old Alliance girl has his case bound over to district court.

34-year-old William Pritchard faced Scotts Bluff County Judge James Worden for a preliminary hearing Thursday morning.

During testimonies, Sergeant Monty Lovelace with the Nebraska State Patrol Investigative Search Division spoke about his investigation concerning Pritchard.

Lovelace said he interviewed Pritchard who admitted to sending the nude photograph to the girl. Investigators also found eight other photos during a search of Pritchard's phone including at least one full-frontal nude picture. Text messages also indicated Pritchard told the girl he loved her. He is a registered sex offender.

Court documents say the girl's mother found text messages and a picture from Pritchard on her daughter's phone before she contacted Alliance police. Police later arrested Pritchard on Sunday.

He is charged with enticement by an electronic communication device, a Class Four felony.

He is scheduled to appear in Scotts Bluff County District court on May 16th at 1 p.m.
